Breast Lift with Augmentation

As women age, their bodies will inevitably change. A lot of these changes will be seen and felt in a woman’s breasts, as gravity, drastic weight fluctuations, and a loss of skin elasticity over time can cause breasts to sag and change in size and shape.

If you are unhappy with the appearance of your breasts, there are various breast treatments, including a breast lift, breast augmentation, and breast implants, to choose from. In some cases, women may benefit from two different breast treatments, and patients will often combine a breast lift with implants.

Dr. Leo Lapuerta specializes in performings breast lifts and augmentations, helping individuals in Katy, Pearland, Piney Point, and Houston, TX improve and revitalize the appearance of their breasts. Dr. Lapuerta has the experience and expertise that comes with providing hundreds of patients with a breast lift with implants over his 20 years of practice, mastering different surgical techniques to help every patient reach their goals.

What Is a Breast Augmentation with a Lift?

Breast augmentation with a lift is a combination surgery that allows patients to experience the benefits of both a breast augmentation and a breast lift, while only having to recover from one surgical procedure.

A breast augmentation alters the size and shape of a woman’s breasts. The procedure is often used to increase the size, symmetry, and volume of an individual’s breasts, using saline or silicone implants to help patients achieve their ideal appearance. Dr. Lapuerta will make a small incision in an area surrounding the breasts, then strategically place a breast implant to augment the appearance of the patient’s breasts.

A breast lift mainly addresses sagging or hanging breasts so patients can achieve perky, youthful-looking breasts. Over time, breasts can begin to sag for a number of reasons, including drastic weight fluctuations that can lead to loose skin, pregnancy and breastfeeding, and the natural pull of gravity. A breast lift removes any loose or hanging skin and tissue from the breasts, then lifts the breasts by placing sutures that will hold the breasts up.

Breast Lift and Augmentation Cost

Combining a breast lift and augmentation into one procedure helps reduce your recovery time and the overall costs of the procedure.  Individually, breast augmentation can cost anywhere from $5,500 to $7,500, and a breast lift can cost between $8,800 and $16,000. By combining a breast lift with implants, you can save thousands of dollars! According to over 8,000 member reviews on RealSelf, a breast lift and augmentation procedure costs, on average, $8,825.

Keep in mind that each patient has different needs and circumstances, which can make the price of a breast lift with implants fluctuate. The best way to get an accurate estimate of the cost of a breast lift and augmentation is to schedule a consultation with Dr. Lapuerta. During a consultation, he will examine your breasts and medical history, as well as discuss your aesthetic goals. He will create an individualized surgical plan once he has this information and will be able to provide an accurate cost estimate.

Breast Lift and Augmentation Recovery

As stated above, combining a breast lift with breast augmentation can drastically reduce one’s recovery time. This allows patients to get the results they seek without significantly disrupting their everyday lives.

Patients can expect some bruising and swelling in the days immediately following the procedure, and should limit their activity to achieve the best possible results. After the initial few days, patients can begin to resume their everyday activities (with approval from their surgeon), and after around seven to 14 days, most individuals can return to work and their normal life. However, patients should hold off on exercise and vigorous physical activity for at least three to six weeks following the procedure.

During the recovery process, it is important to remain patient, as many individuals will not see their final results for up to six months after the procedure.
