This young patient had a breast augmentation several years ago. She has silicone implants and over the years, she developed capsular contraction. Her breasts were firm and bothered her. She consulted with Dr. Lapuerta about her options to correct her breasts. She wanted to be a cup size bigger so Dr. Lapuerta recommended implant exchange to a larger implant, change to saline implants and to place strattice to lessen the risk of repeat capsular contraction. After 1 year, her breasts are soft and feel great. She is very happy and may even come back next year to increase her cup size again.
