This young patient was diagnosed with right breast cancer. She had her mastectomy in another country and came to Dr. Lapuerta for reconstruction. She wanted the easiest recovery with the least downtime. Dr. Lapuerta recommended inserting a tissue expander as a first stage and then later doing an implant exchange for a permanent result.
