This patient had lost over 50 pounds with diet and exercise. Her main concern was her arms. She wanted to be able to wear tank tops and short sleeve shirts during the summer months. For optimal results, Dr. Lapuerta did recommend a full brachioplasty but the patient did not want the long scar. After discussing the options, the patient opted for a modifed brachioplasty which is a combination surgery of liposuction and taking out a wedge of skin under the arm. She wanted improvement and 2 years after her surgery, she is very happy with her results!
